Social commitment
The company and its employees get involved in many ways, for example through voluntary work in non-profit associations or institutions. We support this as much as we can, for example by giving time off for the volunteer fire brigade or voluntary work.
For many years, we have had a close relationship with the SOS Children's Village. For example, on company anniversaries, monetary donations are traditionally requested instead of gifts, which are then generously rounded up or doubled by KASTENS & KNAUER. Thus, at the 30th and 35th anniversary celebrations, 5-digit amounts were collected for the benefit of the SOS Children's Village.

We have been taking part in the Future Day, Girls'Day and Boys'Day, for many years. Over the years, many of our employees' children have been able to get a picture of the company. Some of them are now in training or working life themselves.
Promoting local football, e.g. as a shirt sponsor for the local youth teams of SV Dannenberg and SC Borgfeld.
